Israeli Army Detects Rocket from Lebanon and Responds to Firing Source

The Israeli army announced today, Saturday, that it detected the launch of a rocket from Lebanon towards the town of Yiftah in northern Israel. In a statement, the army said its forces responded by shelling the source of the rocket launch. The army also mentioned that it targeted a Hezbollah site in the town of Al-Labbounah in southern Lebanon last night, indicating that it had also attacked a Hezbollah military complex in Aita Ash-Shab the day before.

Hezbollah announced the deaths of three of its members in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon. The group stated that the three killed were from the town of Bleda, without providing further details. Meanwhile, the Israeli army stated that its aircraft had struck what it described as Hezbollah's military command centers in the areas of Al-Mansouri and Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon. The army's statement noted that it attacked Hezbollah military complexes in the areas of Talousa and Majdel Zoun the day before, adding that the shelling was followed by "secondary explosions," indicating the presence of a large quantity of stored weapons within the complex, according to the statement.
