The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the ongoing Israeli escalation in the Palestinian territories, most recently the aggression against the city of Jenin this morning, calling on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli attacks on Palestinian lands.
The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Sinan Majali, emphasized the need to halt the continuous incursions into Palestinian cities, protect them from repeated assaults, and stop the escalation, which constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law.
Ambassador Majali reaffirmed Jordan's position rejecting these attacks and all unilateral actions that undermine efforts for achieving calm.
**Egypt**
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated today, Monday, that Cairo condemns "in the strongest terms" the Israeli attack on the city of Jenin in the West Bank and calls for an end to these violations.
Egypt confirmed its complete rejection of the repeated Israeli attacks and incursions against Palestinian cities, which result in innocent civilian casualties due to excessive and indiscriminate use of force, "a blatant violation of international law and international legitimacy."
The statement warned of "the grave dangers of the ongoing Israeli escalation, which leads to heightened tensions and exacerbates the suffering of the Palestinian people, undermining efforts made by Egypt and regional and international partners to de-escalate tensions in the occupied territories."
Egypt demanded in the statement that influential global actors intervene "to put an end to these violations and provide protection for the Palestinian people, whose suffering increases day by day."
**Iran**
The Iranian Foreign Ministry believed that the developments in Jenin proved that peace and normalization with Israel are "ineffective and non-deterred."
Israeli forces conducted drone strikes on the city of Jenin in the West Bank overnight, for the second time in less than two weeks, as part of an assault that led to an outbreak of gunfire.
