Lebanon's Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Union Elects New Board

The media office of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Union in Lebanon announced in a statement that "on 16/7/2024, the members of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Union in Lebanon held a general assembly at the union's headquarters, and a new union board was elected in accordance with the law. The members are: Dr. Carol Abi Karam - President of the Union, Dr. Berta Abu Zeid - Vice President, Ramez Lotfi - Secretary, Tarek Tabara - Treasurer, Nabil Gharib - Member, Marwan Malek - Member." The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Union in Lebanon, represented by its president and board members, reaffirmed that "the work of the new board is a continuation of what began with its establishment in 2016, with the main goals of ensuring an appropriate environment for the development and preservation of all Lebanese pharmaceutical factories, safeguarding the citizen's right to access quality medicine at reasonable prices given the vital role of this sector in the Lebanese economy and pharmaceutical security."
