Security Forces: Arrest of the Mastermind Behind the Theft Gang

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued a statement today, Thursday, stating: "On August 1, 2023, unknown individuals stole electrical cables from Adma and fled to an unknown location in a black four-wheel drive vehicle, a 'Range Rover.' As a result of extensive investigations and follow-ups, the Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces was able to identify the individuals involved, including the mastermind of the gang, known as: J. N. (born in 1997, Lebanese). On August 9, 2023, after careful observation and surveillance, one of the division's patrols arrested him in the Al-Qubbeh area - Tripoli."

During the investigation, "he confessed to the charges against him regarding his participation, along with others, in the theft of electrical wires from the Adma area using the 'Range Rover' that he had rented for this purpose." The vehicle was legally seized, and the necessary legal procedures were initiated against the detained individual and he has been placed in the custody of the appropriate authority, based on the directives of the competent judiciary. Work is ongoing to apprehend the remaining members of the gang.
