Baghdad: Syrian Youth Arrested for Blackmailing Iraqi Girl

A security source announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of a Syrian youth who blackmailed an Iraqi girl in the Karrada area of Baghdad. The source stated that "based on the incoming information, a trap was set by the Karrada emergency patrols on streets 52 and 42 in coordination with a complainant born in 2005 to lure the accused blackmailer (M.A.), a Syrian national born in 2000." The source added that "the accused was arrested, and two mobile devices along with a passport were seized from him," confirming that "legal measures were taken against him, and both parties were handed over to the Al-Alooyah police station by the Karrada emergency patrols."
