The Army Command – Directorate of Guidance announced the following: On July 15, 2024, following an attack on an army patrol with gunfire that resulted in no injuries in the town of Brital – Bekaa, a unit of the army, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, conducted a raid and arrested 4 individuals. Military weapons, a quantity of ammunition, and narcotics were confiscated. The seized items have been handed over, and an investigation with the detainees has commenced under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
