Departure of Barcelona Defender

The Catalan club published a post on its official account on X, featuring a picture of Spanish defender Marcos Alonso with the caption: "Marcos Alonso will not continue with Barça, and his association with the club ends on June 30." Alonso's contract with Barcelona concludes today, and he joined the team from Chelsea two years ago. He has been linked with a free transfer to Atlético Madrid during the current summer market. The Rojiblancos attempted to acquire Alonso twice while he was with Fiorentina and Chelsea.
