Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that "Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah is risking Lebanon and the region." In an interview with "Al Arabiya," Hagari said, "We will continue targeting Hezbollah leaders." He added, "We have demonstrated intelligence capabilities by targeting Hezbollah leaders." He noted that "Southern Lebanon is a hostage in Nasrallah's hands." He continued, "We will kill Hamas leaders one after another." Hagari pointed out that "Hamas leaders need to stop being stubborn to reach an agreement." He further stated, "The Israeli army is applying pressure to reach a deal regarding the captives." He mentioned that "Mohammed Deif and Hamas leaders are using the residents of Gaza as human shields." He believed that "time will reveal the fate of Mohammed Deif." Hagari concluded by saying, "Deif was sitting next to Raef Salameh when the latter was killed in the airstrike."
