The South American Football Confederation "CONMEBOL" and sports equipment company Puma have launched the official ball that will be used in the final match of the "Copa America 2024." The official tournament website revealed that the ball, named "Cumbre," will be the official ball for the Copa America final, scheduled for July 14, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, USA.
The tournament site added that the ball is inspired by the passion and grandeur of football in South America, stating that the new design combines technological innovation with a touch of elegance. The source explained that the ball features distinctive golden details and Puma logos in red and blue, representing the American flag, on the traditional background of the ball.
It continued: "The ball's high-level technology ensures the quality standards set by FIFA, achieving maximum performance on the field." The website also noted that the ball's name is inspired by the mountain range that crosses all of South America, explaining that its design reflects the shape of the continent, highlighting its 16 lines, in reference to the number of teams participating in the tournament.
