Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz stated, according to the American newspaper "Wall Street Journal" on Saturday, that "a full-scale war has become very imminent, and the way to prevent it is by pressuring Iran." Katz made his remarks in response to the Houthis' attack on Tel Aviv on Friday morning. He added that "a ceasefire in Gaza and a prisoner exchange agreement will not prevent war with Hezbollah in the north," emphasizing that "Israel will not accept what he called (calm for calm)." Katz expressed doubts about the "possibility of convincing Hezbollah to withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon," saying that their withdrawal would happen either through an Israeli military response or if ordered by Iran. He continued that Israel does not want a full-scale war because "it does not want anything in Lebanon," yet he noted that if war breaks out in Lebanon, "it will not be like Gaza," in his words.
