The "Ansar Allah" Houthi group announced on Monday the resumption of work at the vital Hodeidah port on the Red Sea in western Yemen, following significant damage from Israeli airstrikes that targeted it last Saturday. Mohammed Ayash Qahim, the governor of Hodeidah appointed by the Sana'a government, posted on the platform "X": "Work at Hodeidah port has resumed, at a high pace within 24 hours of the despicable Israeli bombing," without providing any further details. Earlier, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that Air Force aircraft had attacked the Hodeidah port in Yemen "in response to Houthi attacks over the past nine months."
