The UAE... A Unique Global Model for Tolerance and Coexistence

Cultural Advisor to the President of the UAE, Zaki Nusseibeh, affirmed that the UAE's celebration of the International Day for Combating Hate Speech, established by the United Nations General Assembly on June 18 of each year, highlights the UAE's efforts to promote unity, respect, and tolerance among all members of society, regardless of their races, religions, or colors.

Zaki Nusseibeh stated, on this occasion, that "Combating hate speech in the UAE is not just a moral commitment, but is based on the approach and eternal legacy of its founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who laid the foundations of a tolerant state respecting the cultural, religious, and racial diversity that forms an integral part of our society. By embracing his values and vision, the UAE continues to work towards building a more just and peaceful future that respects the rights of all individuals without discrimination, allowing them equal opportunities to live in dignity and respect."

He emphasized that the UAE has enacted strict laws to combat discrimination and hate speech, ensuring the rights of all individuals and promoting safe living in an environment of mutual respect. He pointed out that the UAE continues to cooperate with the international community to enhance tolerance and global peace, and works with global partners to promote security and stability worldwide. He said, "By working together, we can continue the eternal journey and showcase the unique model of the UAE as a symbol of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among various nationalities and cultures."
