Adraee: "Hezbollah" and "Amal Movement" Use Ambulances for Military Purposes

Adraee:

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, announced today, Tuesday, that "Hezbollah and the Amal Movement are using ambulances in southern Lebanon for terrorist purposes." He stated, "The Defense Forces reveal testimonies indicating that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement used a yellow ambulance in Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon, which bears a special insignia of the village and is affiliated with the Islamic Health Authority, for terrorist purposes."

He added, "The ambulance is operated by Hamoula Sheet, headed by an individual named Hassan Muhammad Sheet, who also manages the local governance in the village known as a Hezbollah stronghold." He mentioned that "after analyzing the activity patterns of the ambulance, it was observed that it behaves unusually among Hezbollah sites even after being subjected to shelling, including cases where there is no need to transport the injured and long after being attacked."

He continued, "According to estimates, the ambulances are used by Hezbollah and Amal to transport personnel between locations in areas monitored by the Defense Forces, as well as to move military equipment or tools for terrorist activities." He pointed out that "in addition, two individuals who operated the ambulance in Kafr Kila were identified by Hezbollah after their deaths (on the date of 1/1/2024) as military members of the organization. In contrast, no recognition was given to other medics killed in the village of Haniin as members of the organization."

He concluded, "Moreover, there is accumulating evidence of Hezbollah and Amal using the Islamic Health Authority as a cover for terrorist activities. For example, an individual named Hussein Khalil from the town of Barashit, who was killed during an attack on Blida (23/2/2024), was previously filmed armed with an insignia specific to the Amal organization. After his death, it was reported that he worked as a medic for the mentioned organization."
