During the military parade in Moscow to commemorate Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that a new war is being waged against our nation and that the goal of Russia's adversaries is to dismantle and destroy it. Putin said, "Civilization is once again at a critical turning point; a real war has erupted again against our homeland, but we have defeated international terrorism." He added, "For Russia, there are no friendly or unfriendly peoples, neither in the West nor the East," emphasizing that "Russia does not want to see any criminal and deadly ideology but rather a peaceful, free, and stable future. However, the elites of Western globalization continue to incite conflicts and bloody coups, sowing hatred, animosity towards Russia, and aggressive nationalism."
He continued that the Western globalist elites "also destroy the family and traditional values that make a person human, all to continue imposing rules on nations and enforcing their will and rights. But in reality, it is a system of robbery, violence, and oppression. It seems they have forgotten what the mad claims of the Nazis to control the world led to and have forgotten who defeated this horrific evil, who stood as a wall for their homeland and did not spare his life to liberate the peoples of Europe."
Putin also pointed out that there are several countries that want to suffocate any sovereign development centers, stating: "Their goal, and there is nothing new here, is to achieve the collapse and destruction of our country, erase the results of World War II, and finally break the global security system and international law, suffocating any centers of sovereign development."
The Russian president expressed his profound appreciation for the attendance of leaders from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at the military parade in Moscow, saying: "It is very important that the leaders of the CIS countries gather here in Moscow today. I see this as a grateful attitude towards the achievements of our ancestors. They fought together and won together."
Coinciding with the celebration, Russian cruise missiles exploded over Kyiv today, Tuesday, while soldiers and tanks gathered in Red Square in Moscow for a military parade.
