Manchester City has approved the transfer of one of its prominent players to Atletico Madrid during the ongoing summer transfer window. Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, wrote on his account on the platform "X": "Manchester City has informed Atletico Madrid that it has accepted the final offer to sell Julián Álvarez for €75 million, plus an additional €20 million in incentives." He added: "Negotiations are ongoing from Atletico Madrid's side with Álvarez regarding the personal terms of the contract." He concluded: "Manchester City will allow Julián Álvarez to undergo a medical examination in Spain once the personal terms with Atletico are agreed upon." It is worth noting that Paris Saint-Germain had been strongly competing with Atletico Madrid for the Julián Álvarez deal.
