"A Harsh Response Awaits" - Khamenei's Advisor Threatens Israel

The advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, Kamal Kharrazi, who is also the head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, announced that Israel will face a harsh response if it launches an attack on Lebanon under the pretext of retaliating for the targeting of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights. Kharrazi stated, according to the IRNA news agency, on Tuesday: "Israel must know that if it takes this risk, it will face a harsh response." He continued: "The best solution for Netanyahu is to end the brutal war in Gaza, because if he continues the war, he will gain nothing but human losses and destruction." The Iranian official indicated that "Israel now intends to expand the war by accusing Hezbollah of attacking the Golan," adding that "the Israeli accusations are absurd, as the residents of the Golan oppose the Israeli authorities."
