Military convoys belonging to the "International Coalition" have headed to the military bases in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, coming from Hasakah under the protection of helicopter aviation. The convoys consist of 12 military vehicles and armored personnel carriers, along with 20 trucks laden with military and logistical equipment. According to the Syrian Observatory, "these reinforcements come in parallel with the attack launched by Iran-affiliated militants on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, opposite the Al-Omar oil field, the largest American military base in Syria."
