Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has decided to appoint a new head of the State Litigation Authority, succeeding Masad Abdel Maqsoud Bayoumi. According to an Egyptian presidential statement, President Sisi witnessed the swearing-in of Counselor Abdel Razak Mahmoud Shaib as the new head of the State Litigation Authority, and awarded Masad Abdel Maqsoud Bayoumi the Order of the Republic of the First Class. The Egyptian president praised "the appreciated efforts made by the esteemed State Litigation Authority in defending the state's rights and preserving public funds," emphasizing that "the independence of the judiciary, the establishment of justice, and the protection of rights and duties within the framework of the constitution and law are among the most important foundations for the advancement of the nation and society."
