An Israeli drone targeted a vehicle on the Majdel Anjar - Masnaa main road in Baalbek on Friday evening, resulting in the death of Hamas official Sharhabil Al-Sayed and injuring two others. According to details, Civil Defense workers began extracting the deceased and the injured at 6:15 PM following the airstrike against an SUV. Simultaneously, they worked to extinguish the fire that broke out inside the vehicle, using hydraulic rescue equipment due to the severe damage to the vehicle's structure from the strike. The injured were transported to Baalbek Hospital in Talabaya for necessary treatment.
Earlier on Friday morning, the Israeli army carried out a series of airstrikes in the south, including one targeting the town of Al-Najariya in Sidon district, which resulted in the death of Hezbollah official Hussein Khadr Mahdi, along with two Syrian children.
