"Kamikaze" Ground Drones: Russia's Latest Military Technology

It seems that we are witnessing an exciting development in battles, particularly with regards to drones, whether they are aerial drones or suicide boats known as "kamikaze." The Russian and Ukrainian armies have been using both types of drones intensively, although aerial drones and their suicide variants are the most prevalent in this field.

There is no doubt that drones were used effectively during the recent Armenian-Azerbaijani war, which led to a clear Azerbaijani victory over Armenian forces, especially in the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave.

What is currently emerging is the appearance of "ground drones" that are suicide machines. After observing and hearing about the multiple uses of ground drones in the battlefield in Ukraine, particularly in supply transportation, bomb launching, mining, and other combat roles, it has become evident that these drones have found various applications.

Recently, videos have surfaced demonstrating the use of "suicide ground drones" as a new means to strike soldiers who are taking refuge in trenches on both sides of the conflict in Ukraine. Although this type of kamikaze ground drone has not yet appeared in abundance, it is clear that this usage in battles will spread more, at least after it proves effective in combat zones.

**Scorpion Drone**

During the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian army used the "Scorpion drone," specifically aimed at delivering ammunition or evacuating the wounded. The "Scorpion drone" successfully delivered almost anything, including "several kilograms of ammunition and explosives, to the fighters on the front lines."

Russia increasingly uses surface drones for supply transport, with grenade launchers in combat roles, and now as explosive delivery drones!
