Title: Upgrading the Sports City Stadium's Surface Soon with an Egyptian Touch

Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, who is also the head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, promised his Lebanese counterpart, Dr. George Klass, during an official meeting in Cairo, to upgrade the surface of the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut. He also committed to sending a technical team to conduct the necessary study soon. Klass led the Lebanese delegation, which included the Acting Director General of the Ministry, Dr. Fadia Hallal, Head of the Public Relations Department Hassan Sharara, and the Minister's Office Director Hussein Omar, while the Egyptian delegation consisted of leaders from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, headed by Minister Sobhi. The attendees discussed the Sports City issue as a continuation of discussions held in Beirut during Sobhi's visit for the closing ceremony of "Beirut, Arab Youth Capital." Minister Sobhi committed to adopting this file and sending a technical team soon to the Lebanese capital to study the stadium's surface in preparation for its rehabilitation. They also discussed activating the cooperation agreement between the two countries and transferring the "Olympic Champion" building experience from Egypt to Lebanon.
