The United States has agreed to supply Ukraine with weapons for dozens of F-16 fighter jets, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing its sources. Washington also plans to provide Ukraine with HARM anti-radar missiles, in addition to air-to-air missiles like AIM-120S-8 AMRAAM and AIM-9X. The journal noted that delivery dates are currently unknown. Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the Russian military would "burn (F-16s) in Ukraine and consider striking them at bases in countries from which they may launch," and that they would meet the same fate as German Leopard tanks, American Bradley armored vehicles, and other Western weapons in Ukraine. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the United States and its allies are "currently" sending F-16 fighters to Ukraine, which are expected to arrive in Kyiv this summer.
