Kanaan: Iran Does Not Seek to Escalate Tensions, But Stability is Achieved Through Punishing the Aggressor

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaan confirmed in a press conference that "Iran does not seek to escalate tensions in the region and has made every effort to stop the Israeli war machine and restore stability." He said, "It is unfortunate that this Zionist entity has responded negatively to the efforts of all parties wishing to return to stability and has engaged in other provocative acts, including cross-border terrorism in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and other countries, endangering security in the region." He emphasized that "if Iran uses its right to punish the entity, it aims to establish stability in the region. If America acted according to its moral responsibility, we would not witness this level of instability in the region."
