UNIFIL Statement After Three Soldiers Injured

UNIFIL announced in a statement that "three peacekeeping soldiers from UNIFIL were on patrol and sustained minor injuries this morning, Sunday, when an explosion occurred near their clearly marked UN vehicle in the vicinity of Yarin, in southern Lebanon." It added, "All peacekeeping soldiers who were on the patrol returned safely to their base, and we are investigating the incident." UNIFIL also reminded "all parties and active entities of their responsibility to avoid harming peacekeeping forces and civilians."
