Iranian Foreign Minister Warns Israel: You Will Regret It

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian revealed that the United States has informed his country through official channels that it does not seek an expansion of the war in the Middle East. In a special interview with Al Jazeera, he stated that this American desire contradicts the actions the U.S. is taking on the ground by providing full military support and sending weapons through all American bases to the Israeli entity. He noted that the expansion of the war over the past six weeks through resistance factions in the region was a part of a natural response to the unilateral actions and full military support regarding Israeli attacks and the extermination of Palestinian children and women.

He warned Israel against taking any escalatory actions against the Islamic Republic, stating: “Any action by the Zionist entity against the security of the Islamic Republic will receive a response that the entity will regret.” He emphasized that international and humanitarian law grants the Palestinian people the right to bear arms and take armed actions against the occupier to defend their occupied lands, asserting that the Palestinian people are the only ones with the right to self-determination.

He continued: “The Zionist entity, since its establishment 75 years ago, has only committed acts of murder, genocide, and assassination, which in turn has led to the destabilization of the region.” He confirmed that resolving the Palestinian crisis requires a public referendum among the indigenous population, including Jews, Christians, and Muslims, under the supervision and monitoring of the United Nations, to determine their destiny.
