The distinguished Ja'fari Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, emphasized during his meeting with the Deputy President for Political Affairs in the "National Free Current," Martin Najm Katili, at his office in the Ja'fari Mufti house, that "dialogue is necessary for the sake of dialogue, and the country cannot remain without it. Dialogue is the greatest avenue for purifying hearts and fostering trust; dialogue itself is a result, and there is no dialogue without outcomes." He stressed that "national unity and continuous political communication is the lifeline for the country; without it, we head towards dangers."
He added, "Out of sight, out of mind; we do not want the National Free Current to be out of our view, and we do not want ourselves to be out of their view. We want goodwill and its essence to unite us on the basis of one family."
Qabalan pointed out that "Lebanon's gains from the southern front lie in establishing an unprecedented balance: a security belt in exchange for another security belt, a displacement in exchange for displacement, and economic disruption in exchange for economic disruption."
He stated, "Regarding Resolution 1701, we have no issues with it, as it starts with preventing Israeli aircraft from violating Lebanese airspace, which is what Tel Aviv does not want. Naturally, its implementation should begin from Tel Aviv, not from here, as we are the victims of over 30,000 sovereign breaches."
