Attacking midfielder Daniiele Maldini, son of the Italian football legend Paolo Maldini, moved to Monza on Wednesday on loan from Milan until the end of the current season. The 22-year-old Maldini had also been on loan at Empoli during the first half of the current season and came on as a substitute in his team's 0-3 loss to Milan last Sunday in round nineteen of the league. Last season, Daniiele played on loan at Spezia, where he scored the equalizer against his parent club Milan, which won 2-1 in November 2022.
