The Ukrainian electricity network operator and the Ministry of Energy announced that the country will resume power cuts for some customers today, Monday, due to a generation shortfall resulting from Russian attacks on the grid, along with increased consumption due to hot weather. The operator stated that "the outages will be from 5 PM to 9 PM Kyiv time." Since spring, Russia has intensified missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy sector, causing power outages in many areas and forcing Kyiv to start importing electricity on a large scale from the European Union.
