Deputy Detonates Bomb During Local Council Meeting in Ukraine (Video)

The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that a deputy detonated a hand grenade during a village council meeting in the Transcarpathian region, located on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. The ministry indicated that the incident resulted in the deputy's death and injuries to 11 other attendees at the meeting.

In a statement on their Telegram channel, the ministry wrote: "In the building of the Kirytskovsky village council in the Transcarpathian region, a deputy detonated a hand grenade during the council meeting. According to preliminary information, the explosion killed the deputy and injured 11 others."

The statement added, "All relevant agencies are working at the scene, along with the police investigative team, bomb disposal experts, and specialists in criminal offenses. The investigation is ongoing to uncover and determine all circumstances of the incident."
