According to the American newspaper "The Wall Street Journal," a Hezbollah official stated that "on the day of the assassination of Hezbollah leader Fouad Shukr on July 30, he received a phone call asking him to move from the second floor to his apartment on the seventh floor." The official added, "After that, Israel bombed Shukr's apartment and the three floors below it, resulting in his death." The newspaper reports that "the call that guided him to the seventh floor — where he would be an easier target — apparently came from someone who infiltrated Hezbollah's internal communication network."
