Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, stated that the UAE's participation in the Russian "Innoprom" exhibition aims to introduce investors to the UAE as a reliable industrial investment destination. In remarks to Emirates News Agency (WAM) during the "Innoprom" industrial exhibition, the official noted that the Ministry focuses on exchanging cooperation and partnerships while highlighting priority sectors within the UAE's industrial development strategy and the capabilities available to enhance sustainable business growth.
Al Suwaidi emphasized that the UAE is a key production and logistics gateway and a global destination for major and future industries such as hydrogen and climate technology. The country is a preferred choice for companies, entrepreneurs, and talents, offering a business environment conducive to growth and expansion.
The Undersecretary mentioned that the "Innoprom 2024" international industrial exhibition is an important platform for exchange and cooperation, bringing together industrial companies under one roof. He expressed gratitude to Russia for this opportunity, as the UAE is the "guest of honor" for this year's event.
Al Suwaidi pointed out that "Innoprom 2024" will allow for interactions with tens of thousands of visitors from over 50 countries, which helps enhance cooperation and explore partnership opportunities. He explained that the UAE's participation aligns with strengthening various cooperation fields with partners worldwide and enhancing mutual relations, reflecting efforts to promote and boost sustainable development pathways.
Additionally, Al Suwaidi stated that the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology is keen to showcase the UAE's industrial strategy and initiatives such as "Make in the UAE" to international industrial companies and entrepreneurs, informing participating countries and exhibitors about the UAE's industrial sector.
The Russian city of Yekaterinburg will host the "Innoprom" international industrial exhibition from July 8 to 11, featuring representatives from more than 50 countries. The exhibition activities will discuss cooperation in industry, ways for Russian industries to enter new markets, and strategies for developing industry, increasing production, and achieving economic growth.
