The Egyptian Football Association has addressed the issue of the "imaginary match" between Kuwaiti club Kazma and Telephonat Beni Suef in Egypt. It confirmed that it will cooperate with its Kuwaiti counterpart to uncover all details related to this matter and take necessary legal actions.
The Egyptian Federation stated in a press release that it has closely followed the news circulating in recent hours about the friendly match that took place between Kazma and Telephonat Beni Suef during a training camp organized by a private company in Egypt. The statement emphasized that despite the lack of prior coordination between the Kuwaiti side and the Egyptian Football Association, they will work in coordination and collaboration with the Kuwaiti Football Association to clarify all circumstances related to this issue and take appropriate legal measures.
The statement stressed the importance of prior coordination with the Egyptian Football Association by all foreign federations and clubs when establishing any training camps or friendly matches in Egypt. It noted that such prior coordination will provide "all forms of support," emphasizing that no friendly matches for foreign teams will be permitted without prior permission from the Egyptian Football Association.
