The "Saudi Falcons Club" announced the launch of the sixth edition of the King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival 2023, taking place from Tuesday, November 28, to Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The club revealed that the total prizes for the winners of the festival exceed "33.6" million riyals, awarded in the "Malwah and Mazayen" competitions.
The King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival is an international event that sees the participation of elite falcon owners from the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. This year's sixth edition introduces several new rounds in the Malwah competition, as well as an increased number of winners recognized in its rounds, encouraging falconers to participate and compete for the titles named after "King Abdulaziz" in each category.
The Saudi Falcons Club has increased the number of awards in the local production round to "20" winners, up from the previous five top positions. Additionally, a round has been added in the Mazayen competition for the "Pure Gyr Falcon" category dedicated to Saudis, along with a round for "the International Falcon Auction Farms," and prizes awarded to the top ten positions in the international Malwah competition, instead of just the top three positions.
