Accusations have been mounting against the reputation of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, due to allegedly obtaining degrees illegally from a private university in Łódź without undergoing the required tests. Dr. Barbara Mrozińska revealed that "Lewandowski bought the diploma," as he "passed" two exams that were supposed to be supervised by her. She noted that he received good grades, but she had never seen the Polish international attend any classes or exams.
Mrozińska stated, "His transcripts show that he passed two subjects under my supervision, but that is certainly not the case; I would remember such a famous student." His former agent, Cezary Kulesza, emphasized that "it is absurd to imagine that he was studying to obtain the diplomas in Łódź while I was his manager. During his visits to Poland, he did not even have time for his family or sponsors, so how could he find time to study secretly? It's ridiculous."
Lewandowski joined the Catalan team in the summer of 2022 after eight years with Bayern Munich, where he scored 344 goals and won the UEFA Champions League.
