Users are anticipating a series of prominent features and specifications expected in the "iPhone 15" or the next generation of iPhones for the year 2023. Notably, this includes replacing the Lightning port with a USB-C port, along with equipping all iPhone 15 models with the new Dynamic Island interactive feature, which was introduced this year in Apple’s flagship iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
#### Four New Phones
Reports suggest that Apple plans to rename the next generation of iPhone models for 2023, now referred to as the iPhone 15 series, which will include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Max, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Ultra, the latter being the most powerful and largest phone in the series. According to reports, the iPhone 15 Ultra may feature two front-facing cameras instead of one, utilizing the space allocated for the front camera integrated with Face ID technology. The iPhone 15 Pro will retain a single front camera.
#### Dynamic Island
Having introduced the Dynamic Island feature in both the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which provides interactive notifications through the new design that replaces the notch with a pill-shaped cutout in the display housing the front camera and Face ID technology, all four iPhone 15 models will adopt this new front design and the notification interaction feature.
#### USB-C
While users had hoped to see a USB-C port in the iPhone 14 models, Apple chose to delay this feature for the iPhone 15. The USB-C port is highly anticipated by users as it offers broader compatibility with devices and significantly higher data transfer speeds. Furthermore, certain regulatory bodies in Europe have previously indicated that Apple is obliged to replace the Lightning port with a USB-C port.
#### Larger Storage Capacity
Apple is expected to offer its strongest device in the 2023 iPhone lineup, the iPhone 15 Ultra, starting with a storage capacity of 256 GB instead of the previous 128 GB, while the other iPhone 15 models will begin with a minimum storage of 128 GB, similar to the iPhone 14.
#### Bigger Batteries
Some reports indicate that the new iPhone 15 series will feature larger batteries compared to the previous generation. The iPhone 15 will have a battery capacity of 3877 mAh, while the iPhone 15 Plus will boast the largest battery in the series at approximately 4900 mAh. The iPhone 15 Pro will carry a battery with a capacity of 3650 mAh, while the 15 Pro Max will have a battery capacity of 4850 mAh.
#### New Color
The iPhone 15 Pro will be available in a brand new deep red color, in addition to the usual colors such as white, cosmic black, and gold, replacing the deep purple that Apple offered in the iPhone 14 Pro.
