Arrest of Woman Who Threatened Trump: What’s the Story?

U.S. authorities have arrested a woman in Washington, D.C., after suspecting her of threatening former President Donald Trump and carrying an unlicensed weapon. According to the police, "Christina Montoy, a 41-year-old from Texas, has made threats against Trump since July 20, without providing any details about their content." They also noted that the suspect had carried a gun without a license. An assassination attempt on the former president occurred during his campaign speech in Pennsylvania on July 13, in which Trump was injured in the ear, while the assailant was killed and two others were injured.
