Arrest of Wanted Individual in Baalbek for Shooting at Army Patrol

The Army Command – Directorate of Guidance announced that "on 23/7/2024, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence in the city of Baalbek arrested the wanted individual (A.J.) for shooting at an army patrol, which resulted in the martyrdom of one of its members, and for his involvement in drug trafficking and promotion. A quantity of drugs, military equipment, and war ammunition were seized from him. A patrol from the Directorate also arrested the citizen (H.Z.) in the Ablah area of Baalbek for shooting at a military personnel and injuring him, as well as for armed robbery and drug promotion." The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrested individuals commenced under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
