A Strongly Worded Message from Faiq Al-Sheikh to Mr. Hassan

Faiq Al-Sheikh Ali has returned to the Iraqi media scene to resume his political and media struggle against corruption in Iraq and the dominance of political parties over the state, government, and parliament. He led fierce media battles against Saddam Hussein until the fall of his regime, steadfastly adhering to his reformist vision both inside the Iraqi Parliament and beyond to this day. He seeks to confront what he describes as the Iranian expansionist project. Sheikh Ali directed a message to Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, saying: "The weapons you boast about do not compare at all and do not compete with Israel's capabilities, and you know that." He added, "If Mr. Nasrallah boasts about drones burning in open areas without changing anything in the existing military equation." Sheikh Ali stated: "Nasrallah has nothing to indicate the possibility of achieving surprises in any upcoming confrontation." Faiq Al-Sheikh Ali is a figure who has truly deserved the media and political spotlight due to his steadfastness and principles. He remains committed to his beliefs and national stances despite the heavy price he has paid and continues to pay in a new exile far from his homeland because of Iran and its religious, political, and military influence in Iraq.
