The case of the "Gathering Butcher" continues to reveal new surprises daily, in one of the most heinous murder crimes in Egypt. The killer's confessions regarding his third victim were particularly shocking. In detailed statements made before the prosecution, which were published by Egyptian newspapers, Karim Muslim, known as the "Gathering Butcher," described his relationship with his third victim, "Amira": "She came to my house twice, and I had an affair with her; she was constantly contacting me."
The butcher admitted that he planned to lure her to his home and give her two pills of the drug "Cotapex" to kill her after the drug took effect in her body, just as he did with "Rahma," the previous victim. "Indeed, she came to my house, and I had a sexual encounter with her, and I had prepared a tie on the couch to strangle her with."
In a shocking revelation confirming his young child was in the same house while he committed these crimes, Karim stated that he left his victim lying on the bed under the influence of the drug, went to drop his son off at school, and then returned to kill her. "I came back from school, and she was sleeping on the bed. I tied the tie around her neck and strangled her until she died."
The butcher admitted that he engaged in sexual acts with the victim multiple times after her death and recorded the incident on video until he became bored.
Regarding how he disposed of the body, Karim Muslim said he placed his third victim "Amira" inside the same bag he used for the second victim, "Rahma," and dumped the body on the Port Said road, later discarding her clothes at another site along the same road.
As if nothing had happened, the butcher continued to Port Said to buy methamphetamine and consumed 5 grams of it, according to his statement. He added, "I returned home and sat with my son, and the next day the police came and arrested me."
Investigations have revealed that the butcher's son, named "Zain," appeared clearly with the victims in videos found on the suspect's laptop, flash drives, and mobile phones. His presence was associated with the times the crimes were committed and was prominent at the crime scenes.
