Two Israelis Killed in Jordan Valley... Netanyahu Vows to Respond!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a visit to the "Tirzah" settlement base following the operation in the Jordan Valley in the West Bank which resulted in the deaths of two sisters, stated that "those responsible for the operation will pay the price for their actions; it's just a matter of time."

Netanyahu noted, "I can only say one thing, 'Our enemies' are testing us again and again; they will discover that even in this test, we stand united and will act together with the full support of our forces, the army, and security agencies, which are also working during the holidays to ensure the safety of our citizens and our homeland." He added, "Together, united, we will win."

Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant conducted a security situation assessment as the region experiences a tense period. The incident occurred on Friday morning at a junction in the town of "Hamra" in the Jordan Valley. Two sisters, aged 15 and 21, were killed in the shooting, and their mother was seriously injured. It is worth noting that the two deceased sisters hold British citizenship. Reports suggest that a third person may have died from severe injuries.

The Israeli army stated that "gunfire was directed at a vehicle at the Hamra junction, and soldiers from the army are searching the area." In relation to the shooting near the Hamra junction, it was reported that there was a car accident involving an Israeli and a Palestinian vehicle. The army forces that arrived at the scene detected gunshots fired at the Israeli vehicle, and it is discussed as a terrorist operation that led to the deaths of two and injuries to a third. Israel calls for a response with "firm war"... Following the incident, the Israeli army announced today the mobilization of reserve soldiers, focusing on air defense and the air force, stating that "dozens of reserve officers from the Israeli special forces have been called up."

In his turn, Israeli Beitenu party leader Avigdor Lieberman said, "We are living through very difficult days, and the government must restore Israeli deterrence." Earlier today, the ambulance service of the Magen David Adom organization reported that upon arriving at the scene, they found an Israeli vehicle with three women, two of whom had died, in addition to a vehicle belonging to Palestinians. The vehicle was traveling from eastern Nablus to the Al-Ayn al-Baida area north of Jordan. British Sky News reported that the sisters hold British citizenship.
