Israel has urged its citizens to exercise extreme caution abroad due to threats from Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah. The Israeli National Security Agency stated that "Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah may target Israeli and Jewish institutions abroad." Hamas announced yesterday, Wednesday, the assassination of the movement's political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. Israel had previously declared on Tuesday the assassination of senior Hezbollah leader Fouad Shukr following an airstrike that targeted a residential building in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, threatened Israel with retaliation.
