The General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces (Eastern Libya Forces) led by Khalifa Haftar denied today, Thursday, providing support to one party against the other in the conflict in Sudan.

Libyan National Army spokesman Ahmed Al-Mismari stated in a statement: "The General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces firmly denies providing support to one party against the other in Sudan," noting that "the Libyan armed forces are currently conducting urgent communications with the concerned parties, and we are ready to play a mediating role among our brothers in Sudan to stop the fighting."
