The former girlfriend of Manchester United player Antony, Gabriella Cavallin, revealed that she experienced "domestic violence and death threats from the Brazilian star." Cavallin previously accused the Manchester United star of domestic violence, threats, and physical injuries, and filed a lawsuit in Brazil against the young player, who is 23 years old.
In a television interview with "UOL Esporte," the ex-girlfriend stated that he "threatened to kill her, attacked her, and pushed her against the car door." She continued: "He broke my bag, took my passport, smashed my mobile phone, and wouldn't let me leave. I was a prisoner from around 10 PM to about 3:30 AM; I just wanted to get out of there. I think his mother called a physical therapist and asked for help."
She added: "Antony then threatened me that he and my son would die if I ended the relationship." In the same interview, Cavallin revealed that they lost a child during pregnancy, describing it as "the greatest sorrow of my life and also the biggest feeling of guilt." The player's ex-girlfriend filed a complaint against him for assault on May 20, the same day the Brazilian player appeared for Manchester United in a Premier League match against Bournemouth.
