Title: Nasrallah: There is Optimism in the Presidential File and the Battle with Israel Is Not Over

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in the 23rd anniversary of the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, emphasized that the battle with Israel is not over. He urged the current generations to be aware of the phases of occupation since the 1970s, which included suffering, massacres, prisons, and detention centers. He stated, "This experience should be known to them to understand their past and present. Our struggle extends from May 17, representing wrong choices, to May 15, Nakba Day, to May 25, the date of correct choices."

Nasrallah regarded Lebanon as involved in the regional situation, stating that "what happens inside the Israeli entity directly affects the security and safety of Lebanon. If the Israeli believes that the great war will be only with the Palestinians or only with the Lebanese, he is mistaken. The great war means opening all borders, not just one axis, and this is a strategic shift."

He assessed the current situation in light of recent Israeli threats: "Today, there is no Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates, after the withdrawal from Lebanon and Gaza." He considered that "Israel is now hiding behind walls, iron, and fire and is unable to impose its conditions." He added, "The statements of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during his visit to Syria, after 12 years of universal war against it, confirm the cohesion of the resistance axis," noting that the pillar of resistance is primarily the "believing human in his cause."

He warned: "You are not the ones threatening us with war; rather, we are the ones threatening you with it," adding, "Our strength lies in the domestic front, while Israeli youth face a doctrinal retreat that makes them think about their passport and moving their bag to another country whenever they sense danger."

He continued: "Israel attempts to portray the resistance forces as mere tools of the axis countries, which is a fatal mistake." He pointed out that the Israelis have retreated from their threats due to a decline in tourism and the collapse of the shekel's value against the dollar. He called on the Lebanese to "put aside grievances and hold onto the equation of the army, the people, and the resistance, considering it has protected Lebanon," emphasizing that "security is a prerequisite for any economic and political treatment."

Regarding the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, he said, "Either he resigns himself, or the judiciary must hold him accountable, as the caretaker government has no authority to dismiss him." On the presidential file, he stated: "We are not in a rupture with anyone regarding the presidential file, and we always say let us discuss without preconditions. There is no way for the Lebanese but to return to dialogue, and in the coming days, there may be more optimism regarding the presidency."

He confirmed that the party's recent maneuver was meant to show readiness and negatively impacted tourism and settlers in northern Palestine. He renewed his call regarding the displaced file for a real solution through a decision to send a government delegation to Syria to engage in serious discussions.
