Hafiz Draji Angers Ronaldo Fans: What Did He Say?

Algerian commentator Hafiz Draji, from Qatar's beIN Sports, commented on the moment Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo broke into tears after missing a penalty against Slovenia in a match that ended with "Brazil of Europe" winning 3-0 after a penalty shootout, following a goalless draw in regular and extra time. Draji said in a video shared on social media: "Diego Costa wiped Ronaldo's tears; what stands out are the tears that flowed down the face of the star after missing the penalty, and his national team had not been eliminated, yet he cried for a long time after missing the penalty."

Hafiz Draji Criticizes Ronaldo

He continued: "Recently in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo cried in the King’s Cup final when his team Al-Nassr lost to Al-Hilal, just like he cried 20 years ago when he lost the final to Greece in Portugal. He was 19 then, and he has also cried multiple times, including at Euro 2020 and when Brazil of Europe exited the 2022 World Cup." Draji also made strong comments against Ronaldo in the second half when "the star" touched one of the balls, saying: "Finally, Ronaldo appeared," before adding that "Cristiano will not score," as he predicted the penalty that Ronaldo missed before the end of the first extra half at the 105th minute, prompting reactions from social media users.
