According to the Spanish network "Reliefo," Bilbao's release of a video showing the player receiving his new jersey number (10) serves as an announcement of the Spanish star's commitment to the Basque team for the upcoming season. Nico decided to change his shirt number with Bilbao from 11 to 10, which was previously worn by Iker Muniain, after his departure from the club at the end of last season.
Bilbao later shared a new video in which Williams stated, "I asked Muni for the number; the truth is that I am very proud to be able to wear this number and make history like him."
