Predictions and Dreams for Golden Globe Award Nominees

The awards season in Hollywood is in full swing with the Golden Globe Awards taking place tomorrow, Sunday, and stars are busy thinking about how to enjoy the big appearance while navigating the phases of brilliance and failure. British actress Carey Mulligan, a two-time Oscar nominee competing this year for a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role in "Maestro," stated, "Oh my God, just enjoy it and don't take it too seriously." Mulligan expressed her happiness with what she calls the "beautiful camaraderie" among this year's female nominees, including Margot Robbie, Emma Stone, Lily Gladstone, and Greta Lee.

Oscar winner and Golden Globe nominee Emma Stone for her role in "Poor Things" admitted that the awards season is "nerve-wracking and very exciting." Upon arriving at the Palm Springs Film Festival, Golden Globe nominees shared their mixed feelings of excitement and confusion, emphasizing the need to care for their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. The season will continue until the Oscars on March 10 and includes several milestones in the awards races and countless interviews.

Jeffrey Wright, nominated for Best Actor for "American Fiction," noted, "There's a lot of interest in the project, which is good, but at the same time, I understand how someone might feel a bit different about this wild circus." He added, "I hope our film is seen."

Colman Domingo, competing for his first Golden Globe in the Best Actor category for "Rustin," mentioned that the advice he receives from actors who have been through the awards season is to focus on self-care. He continued, "So don't think about who will win, don't think about those things... think about being present and enjoying the moment. And I think that’s what I'm doing."

Danielle Brooks, who received her first nomination for a Golden Globe, specifically for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Color Purple," expressed her overwhelming happiness. She said, "I've done this before, but as part of a group, so reaching this moment individually makes me want to scream because I feel like my opportunity has finally come."
