Title: Drones Target U.S. Bases in the Region

An American official confirmed today, Sunday, that several members of the U.S. and coalition forces suffered minor injuries in a drone attack on Friday in Syria, marking the second significant attack in recent days against U.S. troops. The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, added that there were no serious injuries among the forces, but some individuals were transferred to a separate location for further evaluation. The U.S. administration has repeatedly assured recently, amid an unprecedented rise in tensions in the region, that it will not tolerate attacks on its forces or endangering their safety. Several strikes have previously been carried out on bases housing militias loyal to Tehran in both Iraq and Syria. However, the current situation is more perilous, especially following Israel's assassination of Haniyeh in Iran's heartland and the targeting of a Hezbollah leader in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the party's stronghold backed by Tehran. Both Iran and Hezbollah have promised painful responses equivalent to the suffering and losses inflicted on Israel, and some of their factions have hinted at targeting American forces as well. It should be noted that approximately 2,500 American soldiers are deployed in Iraq, with a slightly smaller number in Syria across various bases in both countries.
