The Lebanese Taekwondo Federation organized the first phase of the Lebanon Taekwondo Championship for Juniors for the year 2023 at the Mont La Salle Club in Ain Saadeh.
A total of 52 male and female athletes with black belts from various clubs participated in the championship. The matches were held in two rings.
The event was attended by the Federation President Dr. Habib Zreifeh, the President of the Fencing Federation and the President of Mont La Salle Club Jihad Salameh, the Secretary of the Taekwondo Federation Master Mark Harb, International Judge Grandmaster Joe Khoury, Federation Member and Accountant Grandmaster Engineer Eli Naeem, Grandmaster Anwar Naeem, and Grandmaster George Khatar. Also present were Federation Advisor Master Noeil Makhayber, President of the Sports Club Engineer Mazen Tabara, Master Sun Park, envoy from South Korea to Lebanon, club officials, and the families of the athletes.
