Man Dies After Falling from 'Mission Impossible' Cliff in Norway

A man died after falling from a famous cliff in Norway, which was the location for scenes in the popular American film "Mission Impossible." The Preikestolen or Pulpit Rock is located in the Rogaland region of southern Norway and stands approximately 600 meters tall. The cliff is one of the most famous hiking trails in Norway, attracting over 30,000 visitors annually.

According to the American news network "CNN," attorney Nina Tomisen confirmed that a man in his forties died on Monday after falling from the cliff. She stated, "The man was traveling alone and was found with his phone and identification card. He has not been officially identified yet, but the police say they are reasonably certain of his identity."

She added, "The police are investigating the case as an accidental fall. We have no assumptions that anything criminal occurred." Although the cliff is a well-known natural landmark in Norway, its fame increased after appearing in the "Mission Impossible" film starring Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
